Mandate started life in menswear in Oxford St, Darlinghurst, Sydney in 1982. After 10 years the company moved to the Gold Coast in Queensland and the Pacific Fair store opened, where it remains today. Quickly followed a second and third store in the Marina Mirage centre, opposite the Gold Coast Sheraton Hotel and then in the Australia Fair Shopping Centre in Southport.
